Shmeghanigans

Tomorrow my dad goes into surgery again, and this time they will be removing the lens from his eye for 3 to 6 months, at which point it will be replaced with an artificial lens. He's evidently not going to regain his acute vision in that eye, and will most likely be forced to retire.

All of which is incredibly depressing for me, so much so that I'm watching Felicity again. I probably won't be posting for a while, because I don't really have anything to say (granted, this is nothing new), and I'm a little depressed. The wit for which I am justifiably famed has run dry, between my parents respective convalesences and seasonal anxiety affective disorder. I also think that I am missing school, as perverse as that seems.

NOTE: Jeff at Syntax of Things posted a prediction that today would be the shittiest day of the year. So maybe it's not just me, although other than my student loans, I'm out of debt.
