Via Ms. Bond, via Storytelling.The Louisville Free Public Library is tied up in probate with the family of the late Audrey Jean Knauer over a $290,000 bequest and that the outcome might depend on whether the actor Charles Bronson wants the money. Ms. Knauer died in 1997 and inexplicably willed her money to Bronson, whom she labeled a "talented character actor" but whom in all likelihood she had never met. Ms. Knauer's mother wants the money; the Library says it could buy 20,000 books; and Bronson has not yet responded.
And, in London, some of the artistic output of a chimp is going on the auction block.
Congo the chimpanzee led a brief artistic career and enjoyed little critical success, despite the patronage of his contemporary and fellow painter Picasso. But nearly half a century after Congo's artistic career, some of his paintings are going on sale at a prestigious London auction house alongside works by Andy Warhol and Renoir.

I have now applied to over 100 positions that I have recorded in my Excel spreadsheet -- every day there seems to appears responses from institutions that aren't represented by that list. But then again, I wasn't keeping track of resumes I sent out from January to late March.
My parents are in Florida with my brother, so I am probably leaving to go to Indiana for the weekend with the dogs, because the realtors are showing the house a lot more since the price was lowered, and its a pain in the ass. Have a good weekend, everybody!
