Yay! (I wonder if there's any footage of them performing "Ask Any Girl" on that thing. Must... search...!)
The fact that I once owned a "Best of the Supremes" cassette tape helped me to find M. Suck Shamalame's latest effort even stupider than usual. (No offense if you like him, but his movies really stick in my craw. "Signs" was my sign-off with that guy.)
My friend made me watch "Unbreakable", presumedly thinking that, since I like teh Super-heroes, I would like it; I just thought it was the biggest turd ever. I was honestly offended that she thought I would like it. She then made me go see The Village, which I even blogged about, hating it at the time, but wondering if I were to watch it now without the twist, if I might like it better. Plus my friends all hated it, so I think I gave in a little to peer pressure. I KNOW! I expect more of me too! It did give me a chance to run through quotes from The Prisoner while trying to amuse myself.
But yeah, The Supremes' song rules. Co-written by Holland-Dozier-Holland and Frank DeVol, the composer of The Brady Bunch Theme! I had a boyfriend who was obsessed with Frank DeVol for a time. Don't ask me.
Those are the only two of his movies that I have seen; I guessed the twist to "Sixth Sense" before I ever got a chance to see it, and so have never felt the need to rectify that.
