Was scheduled to come in for the day earlier than usual, and immediately left to attend a meeting of the New Librarian Round Table with Veronica at the Undergraduate Library. A good deal of the meeting dealt with items that I didn't quite understand; specifically, the inner workings of Wayne State University library system.
After we left, we returned to Purdy-Kresge to collate some packets for a class session. Then we returned to UGL so that she could conduct a class in database use in the IT 7100 class. She went over ERIC, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and Digital Dissertations Online. Although Veronica suggested that I should help the students if they needed it, there was really very little need for any help, as opposed to the Excel class a couple weeks ago.
