Watched Shaun of the Dead again tonight with Julie, Michelle and Mike. It is my favorite movie of the year; no other movie really even comes close. The Incredibles was good, but when it comes to superheroes, my expectations are terribly high. All in all, it was a really lousy year for movies. I just really, really want to see Bad Education.

I forgot about Spiderman 2, and I admit that it was a wonderful movie, but for some reason it didn't resonate with me like Shaun did. Shaun was a movie that, like RUN LOLA RUN, I liked far in excess of what I anticipated, a movie that for some reason touched me more profoundly than any other movie around, at the same time as I was wholly entertained by it. That's pretty rare in movies. It was the right movie at the right time, at least in my life. I try to describe it, and I just sound like a moron. Oh, well.
So.......I took the "Little Prince" test. Have to say that most of those outcomes are pretty depressing. Sigh.
But all's not lost.....Lost and Alias are on in about 10 minutes, so things are looking up. Another sign that 2005 is gunna be better is that on Monday i put my 60 cents in the vending machine and got 3 dietCokes for the price of one! Whoo hoo!
