Drats! Foiled again!

Those wacky knuckleheads at Focus on the Family have decided that Spongebob Squarepants is a pawn in advancing the Gay Agenda because he holds Patrick's hand, and appears in a video of a remake of Sister Sledge's "We Are Family", a video intended to promote tolerance and diversity:
"We see the video as an insidious means by which the organisation is manipulating and potentially brainwashing kids," Paul Batura, a spokesman for Focus on the Family, told the New York Times.

WAFF [We Are Family Foundation] spokesman Mark Barondeso told the newspaper that anyone who thought the video promoted homosexuality "needs to visit their doctor and get their medication increased".
I like that response. Although personally I think maybe they should skip the medication and go for some kinetic re-education -- by which I mean, a cuff to the side of the head. (via Librarian's Rant)

Heh - "kinetic re-education." That's almost as good as "lumber-assisted remedial training" (LART).

Knuckleheads is nicer than the word I would choose.

What's next with these people? Are they going to evict Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street? Ban the word homosapien and homonym because they have "homo" in them? Puh-lease!

Here's the thing. If they don't think Sponge Bob and Patrick are "sponge worthy" for their family viewing pleasure then they should just turn the channel instead of forcing their agenda on everyone else.

Talk about a jihad.

It originally was "kinetic reprogramming", from when I was pounding on my computer when it wouldn't work. There is also the tactile rebuttal...
