I'm shambling my way towards Christmas. My Christmas cards are all sent out (the postage bill this year was murder!), this is the last day of work, and I have yet to buy anyone any presents. The problem being, as usual, that I am the only one who thinks to give everyone else of what they want for Christmas. Is it so hard to come up with a book or CD that you want, that you haven't gotten around to buying for yourself. As it stands now, my dad and brother can look forward to gift certificates; if either happens to be reading this, I would like to point out that you have given me nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, in the way of ideas. (My mom's a little better to shop for, or, at any rate, she's more fun to shop for.)
On an up note, I am writing a country Christmas song, that, with any luck, I will record with my cousin over the holidays. It's called "Black, Black Christmas". It should be "good", although my cousin doesn't think Spendrick is the artist to record it.
