The Gay Agenda's iPod

Via PCL LinkDump:

"One of the most dangerous ways homosexuality invades family life is through popular music. Parents should keep careful watch over their children's listening habits, especially in this Internet Age of MP3 piracy. "

Just click the above paragraph to see what you should be listening to. Not surpisingly, most of my favorite music is represented on the list. Like Kansas. And Ted Nugent. And Frank Sinatra.

But wait! What is that you say? No Dusty Springfield? No Liza? No Streisand? NO JUDY GARLAND??? For shame! How dare this man pose as a reformed somdomite!

Let's see, there's also Sylvester, Bronski Beat / Jimmy Sommerville, Kylie Minogue, Army of Lovers, Willie Nelson, Bryan Ferry, Aimee Mann, Junior Senior, Soft Cell / Mark Almond, Angela Lansbury, Yoko Ono, The B-52s, Robbie Williams, Noel Coward, Dead Or Alive, Cher, Tom Robinson, The Beatles (transvestitism in Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da -- plus, y'know, Brian Epstein), Iggy Pop, Garth Brooks, Julie Andrews, Futon, Shirley Bassey, Alison Moyet, Belle & Sebastian, Wham! /George Michael, Electric Six, Depeche Mode, Wayne / Jayne County & the Electric Chairs, The Who, Prince, The Breeders (somewhat ironically), Brian Eno, Deee-lite, The The, Missy Elliott, Pansy Division, Patti Smith, The Buzzcocks / Pete Shelley, RuPaul, Bernadette Peters, The New York Dolls, Elton Motello, Phranc, Bette Midler, Dolly Parton, Suede, Grace Jones, Klaus Nomi, Nomiya Maki, X, REM, Blur, and, of course, The Spendrick Hogsbottom Experience. Oh, and Tchaikovsky. Not all gay, but then, neither is the Nuge.

By the way, Oscar Wilde? Not so much reformed. I seem to recall that even after his 'gaol' time, he referred to sex with a woman as being like chewing cold mutton. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

I think I'm going to have to compile a list of the most dangerous ways heterosexuality invades MY life through popular music. Dang breeders.

(No offense meant to any of you who happen to swing that way. Some of my best friends are straight.)

No worries; I may be straight, but I'm no breeder. ;)

Speaking Of Judy Garland, there is an amazingly popular new group on Yahoo called THE JUDY GARLAND EXPERIENCE. They have ultra rare audio files, photo's lively discussions, and an incredible group of people that includes Judy's family members, authors of several Garland biographies, people who knew Judy, and an eclectic bunch of fans of all age ranges (including many that were able to see Judy perform in person. Come check the group out, its great!

Hmm. That added very little to our discourse.

I am confused by the annotation to George Michael as (texan).

I seriously wondered about that myself.

I have it on fairly good authority that the entire thing was a fraud. I had suspected as much, but really, it didn't go any further than the authentic websites do.
