Wilma

It's been a while since I last posted: I guess I got sort of distracted with doing lesson plans. And now I'm pretty distracted by the pending arrival of Hurricane Wilma, scheduled for Saturday night. I'm told that I shouldn't have anything to worry about; here's hoping this is correct. I was planning to evacuate to the house in Tampa, but I'm not sure that that would do me any good.

Otherwise, I'm doing well. Finally got my food stamps -- $28 per month, but hey, it's free money, so what have I got to complain about? I mean other than the fact that they have my wrong birthday on the account so I can't access or change any of the information.

My classes are fun, and I just think they're a hoot, they get so enthusiastic. And I'm gradually picking up a tiny bit of Spanish from what I hear them say in class. So that's good.
